Gemma Hallowell is a Cheshire-based freelance Make up Artist working throughout the UK. Professionally trained at one of Cheshire's finest Make up schools in a variety of makeup areas including Media, Photographic, Beauty, Bridal, Occasion and Theatre.

With a background in fine art, Gemma has always had a passion and talent for creative expression and so developed a love for make up from an early age; appreciating the transformative element and way in which a person's entire countenance can be altered to create a variety of different moods and looks. A career in Make up was the natural choice and Gemma is quickly becoming a well-respcted artist in her field. Reliable, friendly, professional and calm within any working environment has meant that Gemma is sought-after both on-set and by private clients.

In demand Nationally, Gemma has gained experience working in all areas from TV, theatre, commercials, fashion and with numerous celebrities, models and brides. Her passion for her vocation, calm attitude and keen eye for detail ensures that she is a valued member of any team producing work to the highest standards. Recent projects I have been involved with include The Crimson Petal and the White and a Question of Sport for the BBC and at Manchester's leading producing theatre The Royal Exchange.

As well as being a qualified MUA and member of NASMAH, Gemma is also fully qualified and insured in all aspects of beauty therapy including the following areas; 2nd degree Reiki practitioner, Swedish body massage, Indian head massage, Puri-Tan spray tanning and beauty therapy including manicures, pedicures and waxing.
